Yale Urology is a premier academic medical hub that includes Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Health System. We are committed to advanced, patient-centric care; innovative research; and engaging education for tomorrow’s leading urologic surgeons.
We continue to build upon a foundation of firsts. Yale was among the earliest institutions in the United States to recognize urology as its own medical specialty. And we remain leaders in the field, whether through expertise in specific procedures or a global reach of service and research collaboration. We are skilled in urologic oncology, sexual medicine and reproductive health, lower urinary tract symptoms/dysfunction and reconstruction, stone disease, and pediatric urology. And we are paving new ground in urologic sciences.
Important overlaps exist among all aspects of Yale Urology’s mission, and our team of providers and staff works together to make a difference at every level. Observations made in the lab can lead to changes in the clinic by inspiring a clinical trial. Challenges in the clinic and operating room ignite new research ideas. Opportunities for learning emerge in every part of this cycle.
Our focus is on... becoming a top urologic destination center. It is much more than name recognition—it’s a team relentlessly focused on excellence.
