Position: Urologist Location: VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, Reno, Nevada
The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, NV, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Urologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Job Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with urologic conditions.
Conduct comprehensive urologic care in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.
Perform urologic surgeries and minimally invasive procedures.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring continuity of care.
Provide consultation services to other specialty areas within the facility.
Quality and Safety Oversight:
Participate in quality assurance programs and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure appropriate clinical protocols and standards are maintained.
Review and oversee clinical outcomes, patient safety, and satisfaction metrics.
Staff Education and Training:
Provide mentorship and guidance to residents, medical students, and other trainees.
Engage in continuous professional development.
Contribute to educational activities and clinical workshops.
Patient Care:
Develop treatment plans that are individualized for each patient.
Interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory results.
Communicate with patients and their families about urologic health, treatment options, and prevention strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, ensuring holistic patient care.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and interdisciplinary conferences.
