• Day shift position with varied hours including weekend and holiday rotation
• Will work bench at both NWHC and Siteman Cancer Center NW
• Will perform special projects and duties to assist in keeping the lab compliant with regulatory standards.
• Assist with department schedule creation
• Assist department supervisor with day to day operations of both NWHC and SCCNW

Christian Hospital is a full-service acute care community hospital located on 28 acres in north St. Louis County. Northwest HealthCare, located six miles west of Christian Hospital, provides the community 24-hour emergency care, with Washington University Physicians and St. Louis Children’s Hospital providing pediatric services. Northwest HealthCare is also home to the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of full-service outpatient diagnostic and imaging services in a convenient setting.

Role Purpose

Coordinates the technical activities of the department (inventory management, R&D, technical procedures and Policies, CAP readiness, etc.). Also performs testing and processing of routine and complex testing on blood and other specimens as well as acts as a resource person to staff.
