OUTPATIENT PEDIATRIC SPEECH PATHOLOGIST DUTIES AND RESPO NSIBILITIES
CLINICAL SE RVICE (100%)
Independently maintains a clinicalcaseload in designated clinical area
Provides evidence based evaluation an d treatment to diverse, medically challenging patient populations
Provides quality service delivery techniques that facilitate optimum services to meet patient needs being sensitive to patient's age, social, cultural, educational and vocational backgroun d
Completes required documentation acc urately and within the designated time frame which may include report wr iting, billing, and/ or professional education database
Works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary t eam as well as withDepartment colleagues to promote best care of the patient
Participates in the peer review process
Participates in performance im provement initiatives within assigned work area under the supervision of Clinical Coordinator
Takes initiative to remain current in clinical practice through lectures, literature, an d other educational opportunities
Orga nizes daily schedule to prioritize responsibilities including the integr ation of meetings, responsibilities, or tasks into schedule without nega tive impact on patient care or productivity
< /span>Maintains confidentiality pertaining to patient care and all Depar tmental policies and procedures
Keeps Clinical Coordinator informed of activities, problems, and/or accomplish ments
Functions in a self-directed man ner and takes ownership to manage self and work including responsibility for actions and accountability for results
< /span>Maintains professional demeanor and is responsible for quality car e in all interactions
Responds promptl y to communication (e.g., e-mail, pages and phone messages)
Uses technology (e.g., computer skills) to meet jo b requirements

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
Experience
