High quality healthcare, in the High Country. Middle Park Health is a 25-bed critical access hospital, with level IV emergency services at two main facilities, Kremmling and Granby. In addition, the health system has five rural health clinics and one urgent care clinic. The main facility is in Granby and features two operating rooms, outpatient ancillary services and specialty support including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, OB, podiatry, cardiology, urology, and dermatology. Middle Park Health serves the county’s 15,000+ residents as well as over 2 million annual visitors. Middle Park Health employs over 250 staff. Senior Accountant Reports to: CFO Description: Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements. Responsible for monthly tasks such as reconciliations, cash ledger closing and recluses, month end journal entries, and accruals. Prepare financial statements and in the analysis and reconciliation of the general ledger. May establish, modify, document, and coordinate implementation of audit and accounting control procedures Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred (Years experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree).
- Minimum of five years experience in accounting, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Ability to utilize various software, including excel
- Supervisory experience preferred.
